It's quite possible you've heard them, or at least heard of them. They've been playing the music of The Beatles all over the northwest since 1990, including shows with musical legends like The Ventures, The Turtles, The Kingsmen, Merrilee Rush, and Roberta Flack, and for corporate clients including Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, KBSG, Rolls Royce, KZOK, and Dale Chihuly.
Over the years they've performed for Capitol Music's northwest release of the Beatles Anthology, a private VIP party for the arrival of The Concorde at the Museum of Flight, the City of Seattle New Year's Eve party at the Seattle Center, and the NCAA Final Four tournament. They've also had numerous return performances at the Bite of Seattle, KBSG Beatles Cruises, Ivar's Fourth of July-vars, and the Downtown Seattle Out-to-Lunch concert series, along with pre-game shows for the Sonics, Mariners and Seahawks.
To enhance their sound, The Nowhere Men often use vintage instruments and spend countless hours dissecting the recordings and debating the smallest nuance of inflection and phrase. The group decided early on that they wouldn't try to physically impersonate The Beatles, but rather concentrate on how to deliver the total sound in a live format within the context of a foursome. This has become the group's challenge and motivation. As a result, their audiences enjoy the interpretations of the early Beatles and the creativity involved in performing some of the more complex arrangements from albums like "Sgt. Pepper" and "Abbey Road".
With listeners from around the world agreeing that The Nowhere Men produce some of the most authentic live musical re-creations of the songs by The Beatles, the band has been firmly established as the premier northwest Beatles tribute band.
