Linda Severt

Linda Severt delivers an engaging, high-energy performance combining juggling, music, puppetry, and physical comedy. Young people are consistently inspired by Linda's skillful versatility and affable style. They may be onstage helping Linda perform fantastic feats of juggling, or in the audience singing along to such songs as "The Animals In Washington Sure Are Weird," or "Step by Step," a song about successful learning.

Linda has performed in hundreds of schools and at numerous festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada. She has also made several movie and television appearances, including KING-5's "Music Magic" and KCTS-9's "Spotlight Series." Linda is also available as a roving juggler, adding a festive ambience to any event. She combines her practiced craft with a split-second wit and spontaneity that warms and welcomes crowds of all sizes.

Linda provides all equipment and encouragement necessary to lead children (ages 2 and up) through hands-on juggling workshops. Her creative and non-competative method of teaching establishes an environment in which children experience success at every step.

The Music Room:
LIPS LOUDSPEAKER, SWEET PETE McBEAT, and a mischievous METRO "GNOME" are just a few of the zany characters that make their home in The Music Room. Join clown musician extraordinaire, Linda Severt, as she sits in on a more than slightly silly music lesson that explores a fantastic world of raucous rhythm, rollicking songs and topsy turvy music theory. When the music teacher disappears, leaving only an operatic GOOD-BY NOTE and a forbidding textbook, HOW TO PLAY MUSIC, it is the magical cue for the room to literally come to life as a startling array of everday objects give musical tips and pointers.

Linda is also widely known for her long running show, Juggletunes, which is a wild and engaging performance of music, juggling, puppetry and physical comedy.
